All good things come to an end; it’s inevitable; the trick is to realise when it’s good and ride that wave for as long as possible. Then, look out for the next one as it swells on the horizon.
The Scarlett Gallery began in 2011 with the intent of offering Stockholm an alternative inspiring gallery space and print store. We brought international artists to Stockholm to create murals and shows, occasionally live on rooftops in the rain… if you know, you know. The webstore has offered all manner of fantastic artworks, many unique and created especially for us. We have met and worked with great artists and discovered fantastic customers, many of whom were quite surprised by their purchases. It’s been a lot of fun and a fantastic experience.
But now it’s time to move on.
In 2025, the Scarlett Gallery will cease to exist as you know it. The gallery will still have an online presence acting as an archive of shows (we've kept the original accompanying text), and the Instagram feed will still be updated with random inspiration and musings. For a short period, this site will also feature several remaining artworks, so if you're interested in any of them, just get in touch.
Although we’ve decided to step away to pursue other projects for now, who knows what might happen in the future. We’re still just an email away. Let’s stay in touch.
